Craig has some less than ‘fab-you-luss’ opinions to share about Shirley, Tess and Bruno.
Strictly judge Craig Revel Horwood is known for being one of the most outspoken and uncompromising members of the panel, but he may have gone too far this week.
On the first night of a tour to promote his new book In Strictest Confidence, the famously waspish choreographer and panto dame told an audience in Oxford’s Sheldonian Theatre that fellow Strictly pundit Bruno Tonioli was ‘an annoying attention-seeker’ and a ‘tightwad.’
He went on to mock Shirley Ballas ’s ‘fake’ boobs which he described as ‘hanging out’ when she attended her first audition, saying: “I showed my book to the BBC and they cut one part about Shirley’s breasts.
“I don’t know if you want to hear it? What happened is that she came to the audition and literally had her thing open to her navel.
“I am not joking. Her boobs were like bazooka things hanging out. It was not very, erm, ‘Strictly’ so they came in and sewed all that up. Then they had to push them down . . . and they’re fake!”
The 53-year-old Australian also took swipes at Simon Cowell , Jason Gardiner and Strictly host Tess Daly – who he mocked for her ‘boring’ questions.
But now, according to The Sun , Craig has been given a stern warning by Strictly bosses. He’s been told to be more diplomatic in future and been warned that no-one on the show is irreplaceable.
Craig also had a lot to say on the current Seann Walsh and Katya Jones furore, referring to the ‘Strictly Curse’ and suggesting that the couple should have ‘got a room’ rather than smooching on the street.
